“Nurturing Elites” is our core School Based curriculum (Chinese only at this time), which is self-developed to complement our School Mission “In Quest of Character Based Excellence”. This is the result of a massive effort undertaken by Catiline for a number of years.

We believe that education is an agricultural process, not a manufacturing process. Our role is to help nurture the children grow and lay the foundations to become elites in a natural way, including character and morals, etiquette, life habits, knowledge etc. This curriculum is intended to help us accomplish this consistent with our school mission.

“Nurturing Elites” is designed with our selected moral themes as core values, interpreted through stories as lead in, and naturally developed to include:

All children naturally love to learn. And their most effective learning methods are those that come naturally for children, viz: imitation, stories, games, songs, role playing, trying and doing, repetition, etc. Although there are deep meanings in the contents of “Nurturing Elites”, its interpretation is totally with the above methods, consistent with the concept of “play based learning”.

Sure! We have 12 books for each level (K1, K2, K3), 6 each for each school term, with a common editorial theme, core values (morals), but interpreted at different degrees of complexity in a gradual advancing method.
