Our Way to Teach

Synthetic Phonics：

  • It allows children to understand that words are made of phonemes.
  • Children learn to read & write English through combining and segmenting these phonemes.
  • Children blend phonemes together to form words for reading and listen to and then segment unfamiliar words for spelling.
  • Providing a far better path to literacy than constant memorisation of words.

  • Textbooks are colourful, interesting and attractive
  • Contents are closely related to daily life
  • Children can easily relate to their own experiences

Sentences：​​​

  • We teach vocabularies and sentences in a systematic way 
  • Encourage children to use the learnt vocabularies in sentences and conversations.
  • Build up a child's confidence by encouraging them to use English in daily life
  • Increase their skills through role-play, show and tell and discussion.

School-based Materials：​​

  • Developed a series of learning materials tailored specifically to the needs of the children.
  • Reinforces the learnt content and phonics, and helps children to practice their pencil control skills.
