Motor Skills
Motor Skills can be divided into 2 major areas: "Gross motor" and "Fine motor".
Both are essential to a child's development.

Gross motor skills refer to skills involving large muscle movements, such as independent sitting, crawling, walking, or running. Good gross motor helps with a child's fine motor and self-help skills.
We hire professional trainers to design a physical programme specially for N1 students. The programme focus on enhancing children's gross motor skills such as banlancing, crawling and jumping.

Fine motor skills involve use of smaller muscles, such as grasping, object manipulation, or drawing. Fine motor skills often require coordinating movements of the hands and fingers with the eyes. This is called hand-eye coordination.
We understand preschool is the "golden period" of training one's fine motor skills. Therefore, in Catiline, we design various games and activities to prepare children for their further learning in self-help and writing skills.
