To be in early childhood education in Hong Kong is very challenging. Teachers and students are dealing with early childhood learning and second or third language acquisition. I take my role as a teacher seriously but believe strongly in the fun classroom, from play children can explore , create and attach meaning to what they are learning and are better motivated to express themselves. I also believe we must strive to be better teachers, keep learning, from other teachers, from educational research but most of all from our students.
在香港，幼兒教育是一項具挑戰性的事業，老師和學生們在教學或學習的同時，亦需要兼顧第二甚至第三語言的學習。我很認真對待身為老師的身分，但我亦相信幼兒能於玩耍中探索和創造，而有趣的課堂可使他們更有動力去學習和表達自己的想法。為了成為一位更好的老師，我們不但要從其他老師或研究上學習，更重要是從學生的身上學習。（譯文）
